Week 25: Looking Inward

If you were to look at your social media page as a stranger, would you recognize who you are? We’re not talking about a physical representation of you, but would you recognize your dreams, your deepest thoughts, your hopes and dreams? Our society tells us to flood our feeds with selfies and pictures that show our good side.

Artists over the ages have immortalized themselves within their art, capturing their likeness in their works. But artists often leave clues on the page revealing a deeper meaning or truth about themselves.

This week, the challenge is to look inwards as you create a self portrait that reveals who or what you want people to know about you. This could be a hope or a fear, something nobody knows or something nobody would expect, or it could be a dream of who you hope to become. Any way, make it personal. Look inwards, past a physical description of who you are.

If you are interested in joining in, even if it is your first time, we’d love to have you join us. Please follow these simple steps to submit in your drawings to be shared!
