Week 31: Myths

Our history is filled with stories of gods and creatures that only exist in the far reaches of time. Every society has its own history of myths and legends. From the Greek and Roman gods to the spirits of the Native Americans, there are many more far between.

This week, choose a myth and illustrate it. Put the words into an image and tell the story. Feel free to choose any myth from any society or part of the world. And allow yourself the freedom to create your own image, and not just a variation of someone else’s.

If you are interested in joining in, even if it is your first time, we’d love to have you join us. Please follow these simple steps to submit in your drawings to be shared!

Inspired by Norse Mythology, this is a quick sketch of Freyja and the boar Hildisvíni. – STKerr
