Week 35: Everyday Heroes

When we think about heroes, many of us automatically find our minds going to Firefighters, Law Enforcement, and Military Personnel. While these men and women put their lives on the line every day, there are many more heroes that remain relatively unknown outside of their small spheres of influence.

Heroes are all around us. Everyday people like you and me.

Take a look at the communities that have come together after a disaster. Look at pictures of people risking everything to help their neighbors. Take a glance at the heroes down in Texas who have come together in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

These are just a few examples of everyday heroes.

The challenge this week is to honor an everyday hero. How you do this is up to your discretion.

If you are interested in joining in, even if it is your first time, we’d love to have you join us. Please follow these simple steps to submit in your drawings to be shared!
